Processing of personal data

The National Academy for Finance and Economics processes your personal data because you are taking a course with us or are renting one of our conference rooms, or because you have provided your personal data to us yourself. Below we have listed the personal data we process in the context of our training and other activities.

Why we need your data

The National Academy processes your personal data for the following purposes only:

Processing and confirming your registration and further information for the training activity for which you have registered
Processing and confirming your request to rent a conference room
Providing information about training courses, conferences and/or other activities
Processing payments
Compiling attendance lists and providing proof of participation and/or certificates
Processing continuing education credits (if applicable)
Providing a personal account for accessing our digital learning environment
Disseminating our course catalogue and newsletters
Calling you if needed in the context of our services
Informing you of changes to our training programmes or services

Sharing with others

As part of our training activities, we provide a list of participants to instructors prior to a course being taught. The list shows the names, job titles and employers of the participants, which helps the instructors prepare. In our digital learning environment, this data is also visible to instructors and participants in the same group. As a participant, you can adjust your settings and choose whether or not to make your data visible to others.

The National Academy does not provide your data to third parties or other parties within the national government. It will only do so if this is required to facilitate the performance of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We enter into a data processing agreement with organisations that process your data on our behalf, for instance in our digital learning environment, to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. The National Academy continues to bear responsibility for these processing operations.

Accessing, rectifying or erasing data

You have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data. To be sure that it was you who submitted the request for access, we will contact you for verification purposes. The National Academy will respond to your request as soon as possible. You will hear from us within four weeks.

Security

The National Academy takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate action to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorised access or alteration, and inappropriate disclosure. Please contact us using the personal data form if you believe that your data is not secured properly or you have evidence of abuse.
